OVERVIEW OF Slitterhead:
So in this game, you play as this weird spirit dude named Hyoki who doesn’t remember anything about himself—he doesn’t even have a body. He ends up in this wild, super chaotic city called Kowlong, where these creepy monsters called Slitterheads are pretending to be regular people. Your whole job? Hunt them down and wipe them out.
Since Hyoki doesn’t have a body, he can just jump into other people and take control of them. It’s actually kinda sick—you can use random people to sneak past guards, break into shady places, or just zip around the city by switching from person to person. When it’s time to fight, things get intense. You use the blood of the people you’re possessing to make weapons and beat the crap out of Slitterheads. Bodies don’t last forever, but if one starts to die, you just hop into another and keep going. Some people, called “Rarities,” are special and give you extra powers when you take them over, which makes the fights even cooler.
The story gets deeper as you go—Hyoki tries to figure out who he really is and why these Slitterheads are everywhere. Your bond with the Rarities is important too because they help you uncover secrets about the city and what is really going on behind all the madness. It’s like part horror, part action, and part detective mystery, all in this neon-lit, freaky city.
